While I was muching the cake from L*f Bakery, something cracked in my mouth. Was it my teeth? Shouln't be. What was it? There shouldn't be something that could crack in the cake, I knew. Finding out that it was a piece of egg shell. No wonder the cake from L*f Bakery is unexpected. The feeling of finding egg shell in the cake was really bad. Bad experience. ==

Haircut.

Haircut is really important in determining if a person is good-looking or not in other people's eyes. Even a very cute/hot person can turn out to be ugly if the haircut doesn't really suit on him and vice versa. Agree? No?

hi everyone,

wow..tis is somehow my 3rd or 4th time writing on this blog..i dunno where to start off since my life has been so miserable for the past few weeks...been rushing on my f***-ing assignments(my god..n i have been writing bad words) competing with times..sacrified all my sleeping hours...now it had come to an end.....THANK GOD!!!

well..i had no idea how engineering can make a person so stress up..and i have been feeling homesick..i missed brunei..i missed my dears..i missed those days which i can slacking off as much as i want..i m so stressed up that i m at the point of breaking down..so for those who havent decide wat course they wanna do and are now considering engineering..pls pls pls pls.....do think million times...if u wanna free like a bird..dont wanna rush for assignments..wanna spend ur time freely...slowly in the uni..i recommend u to take other courses...i think i m losing quite a lot of hairs...=="which is like..a v v v v v sad n worrying thing for me...i noticed my seniors...who is taking the same course as me (Electrical and Electronics Engineering), two of them(girls)...errmm..quite bald in the center of their head...@@“ i dont really want to believe in this..bt i telling u...i m now following their track....god..pls pls pls....i want my thick hair back TT_____TT

besides than losing hairs and have sleeping debts, my life went to the wrong direction...i was doing something..which i think..is a crime..n i dont really wanna say bout it here..my life went wrong..n i was really panicking..i noe..i m not a good and obeying girl,i rebel and fight for my own rights wif my parents..bt i myself noe and have principles tat i will not walk down the wrong path..somehow..some incident..changed my life..n makes it sucks..i committed a crime..i was so worrying..n helpless..i seek help and advise..n non of these helps me..i was stuck in my own thought whn everyone is telling me.."hey gal...chill out...cool down...everything will be fine" i juz cant walk out the darkness in my heart..like dear jucy said.."guilt eats me alive"...

finished it at 6am...n yes..we were crazy..we din slept for 48hrs and i juz drank drinks like tea-c and coffee for these 48hrs as my three meals..for tis stupid circuit..we did something stupid too..n sacrified a lot!!!!

HAVE A BLAST~TAT"S LIFE!!! even when u did mistakes..even if u face difficulties..dont forget..these mistakes will become our important lesson and push us to move forward..wat's more..u still got us here..we are one together~even if I m now in Kuching n seperated wif Ju and Vic and Hau and Mark and Sing Yee and a lot more..Wayne..n Zhane..u guys give a lot of strength to me..even if u guys juz chat wif me for 30sec..it cooled down my trouble n worry..we are bonded together..thanks guys~muackzz~love ya all..

It's my 1st time posting in this blog after reading it for a rather long period of time...haha！ Thanks to JanKn for the invite. I'm now spending my hols in KL with my parents, helping to move house from Subang Jaya to Kuchai Lama. Man... the books are really heavy! Beats going to the gym.

Studying Civil Eng in Monash is pretty tough. It's not so much the final exams, but the projects which are really killer. As an example, for our transportation project, my team spent 4 hrs everyday on the bus collecting data, for 3-4 days. The design of the data collection forms, plus data processing takes an even longer time. We ended up with a 30 page report with 60 pages of data, in our final submission. Anyway, for the 1st time in my life, spending countless nights 熬夜 is becoming so common! I think I've developed quite heavy panda eyes due to this LOL...

Clayton is almost 20km from Melb city, and since I still can't drive(arghhh), it's takes at least 15 mins to walk to the train station, 30 mins on the train. That's excluding train delays! So it's at least 1.5 hours for a roundtrip! So, I go to the city only a maximum of 2-3 times a month.

My free time is mostly spent on Navigators(a small church group on campus), badminton and table tennis. That's my only relief from the overwhelming study load. Unfortunately, my beloved music has taken quite a backseat from my life, no more 3-6 hr piano practice/day like b4. I've switched from listening to pure classical/jazz and expanded to a lot of rock and pop(Chinese,Cantonese and English). But I still can't take any kind of metal, electronic or rap/R&B stuff unfortunately, however hard my friends sell it to me.

Anyway, I'm kinda bored during the hols, with so little things to do. Aside from learning some AutoCad, I'm trying to take up singing! LOL. There's quite a lot of useful online lessons on youtube and the Internet, if anyone is interested. So far I'm stuck with deep breathing exercises and breath control. I just realised that I've been doing it wrong for the past 10 years or so. Your stomach area should rise as you inhale and contract as you exhale, whereas for me it's the opposite! It's like the Star Wars quote, " You have to unlearn what you have learnt"....

I'm now trying to memorise a few songs, so if anyone has any good songs to recommend to me, please do! For some reason the music part is so much easier than the lyrics, in terms of memorising. I've already memorised quite a bit of 老男孩　ａｎｄ　你不知道的事.

老男孩　is a really good and meaningful song... recommend everyone to listen to it!

Ｏｈ，and if anyone has written some lyrics, please send it to me! So that I can put music to it to ease my boredom...LOL

So I have been dropping in and out of this blog once a week because i only get the weekends to myself as you all know. And it's most likely the deadest blog that is own by 36 people. Where are all the people? We are F5A.CHMS07 or not? This blog is here and it will always be here until god knows when so why not just update us on how you are doing? Anything you write will be interesting to us as what I am writing is to you. So do remember us as we all grow older and remember our form teacher SHANTIF5A. Please just try to sign in and maybe post one day of your life. We want to know what is happening with you, how is your life wherever you are. If you do not remember the email and pass then just ask around, I am sure that there is still a hand full of us who knows.

I know I never post anything about myself in the army. Well frankly I do not know what to post about. So I am just going to post about this week. This week was fun, we had our Advance Trainfire Package or ATP for short. It just means we went to a shooting range, shooting targets trying our best to hit as many as we can. There were a total of 36 targets and we had to hit 29 to get marksmanship. A badge and $200 would come with it. So I started ok but as the shoot went on i start to miss more and more. Haizz.. Now thinking about it makes me sad. You know the feeling of losing when you really want it. I just want the $200 so badly and it comes at just the right timing, just in time for the year end sales. Too bad, wasted I could not get it. But overall it was quite fun la shooting our weapons. For those who had fired a weapon before you know la the feeling. Eventhough we are having fun there is still a sense of danger la because we are just shooting next to each others. Looking left and right are my buddies eagerly waiting to try and get the marksmanship. haha but most of them did not get it either.

Well I had told some of you guys out there about some of the dramas that happen in the army. Well there are alot, some I myself am either too gullible or ignorant to notice. This week, something happened that makes me feels that the world is just not worth living the rest of my life. People can really suck and it just opened my eye to all the shit that had happened. All the little clues about what a person is like is all there in front of me and I am just too damn stupid to even notice one. I cannot tell whether one is being sarcastic or being truthful. I would just believe them all if you tell me anything. The world is not what I expected, I am still caught up in our perfect little world in CHMS. You guys fun and nice. Here people can really be selfish bastards and still get away with it all. I know this is the real world, it sucks and may only get worse for me. I just do not know how to deal with it. I never had to deal with this before I really have no idea I really hate this . All I know is how to study, nobody can ever teach me how to deal with this type of shit but myself but I have no idea where to start. I cannot keep living the way I am. I am too trusting but this is all I have. I have no choice but to trust the people around me because I am stuck here for the rest of my NS life and I have no one else to turn to to have my back.

So this is me coping with the real world. I hope you guys do not have to deal with this sort of things because everybody's true colors really shine brighter in the army than anywhere else.

i think i got really emotional after coming to kl haha i cry a lot too, like sad movies la! and sad stuff, not on daily basis!

Hey Everybody Who Keeps Coming To Check:

Finally there's a new post. But what to put into the post leh? *shrugs*
Hmm, let's see, Yoke Khee's back in Brunei til the 21st.
We went out yesterday, the day before yesterday, and the day before that.
Yoke, Yeet and I went to CHMS for laksa on Thursday afternoon.
They put too much milk, tasted weird...
We all ended up playing memory and other made-up games using the chinese chess pieces in the canteen, with an ex-student of mine.
Turned out quite fun actually.
It's interesting how sometimes, you think "God, things sure have changed since our time!"
And then other times, you think, "Ahh, some things never change."

Then it made me think, woah, it's 2010 now. Nearly 2011. What's one year out of so many thousands before this one, and the decades to come? What's one class out of so many before and to come? It's like the school is a conveyor belt, students going in one end, coming out the other. But it's anything but depressing to be so temporary. We had our time, our moment. It felt so long when we had it, but now it feels so fleeting. Like a moment on the photograph. "You can't take a picture of something, unless it's already gone." Well said.

I just watched this episode on tv, where high school friends were reunited at one of their ex-classmate's funeral. They no longer shared anything in common coz their experiences after school changed them. So in the end, the only thing they had in common was that they were in the same class in high school, as different people. It's only natural I guess.

I didn't feel too much nostalgia with CHMS anymore. A lot of new unfamiliar things and people. My time with it has already been erased. Progress is fascinating this way. I wish more people would write in this blog... Just to see how we progress, and how we become more and more different. Come on, people! Don't just drop by! Leave a bit of yourself before you go. =]

Guess what??? The Army also got home work one. Had to write an essay about my defining moment. So here is the essay as a little preview of me dishing about armylife in the near future. Enjoy.

My defining moment.

People always say that National Service is like a rite of passage for all the boys in Singapore. With all the tough times the army put you through, it is not easy to stay the same way as you were before serving your NS. People changes over time and it is just the beginning for me. I have only served my NS for 16 weeks but changes in me can be seen already by myself and others. I have become more fit physically and also mentally. All of this changes did not just come in one moment, it is the over the span of time I have been here but there was one moment that had me cherish it the most.

It was during field camp. It was after so much digging of my shell-scrape and it was still a long way from being done. My platoon was called to gather in front of our commanders. As we gathered, I could see the letters in my Platoon Commander's hands. Knowing that they were for us as my bunk mates had previously said we would receive letters from our loved ones during field camp. Once the strength was accounted for, my sergeant started giving his speech that touched all of the recruits' hearts. Some tears started to snake down some of their faces. The worn out camouflage we had on our faces were slowly washed away drip by drip. The speech made me remembered one thing I do not like about myself. I am always reluctant to spend time with my parents.

My father is above 60 and still likes to walk all over Singapore. He loves to go to those places that reminded him of his childhood here before moving to Brunei. It is always me who had to follow him through his search for nostalgia in places I would never had gone otherwise. All of my brothers were just all too busy and just put him in my hands. It is not that I do not love my father, but having to follow him everyday was just too much. The trips with him were quite interesting to a certain level but I was only a simple-minded teenager but now I see my family's history in all those trips and also the history of my country.

My PC suddenly interrupted us, saying that he got letters from our loved ones and started burning them while asking us were we good enough sons to read these letters. I could see faces in shock. Some were still crying from the speech. Some were just plain smiling. My PC then took out the real letters and started to give them out one by one. At this moment I realised that my buddy,Haris was not around. I asked around and finally spotted him under a tree. He had fell out due to body cramp. My name was called out , along with Haris' so I stood up, wiping the tears off my face along with it the camouflage in a single stroke and ran up the my PC. I took my letter and asked for Haris' as well. I took the letter to him and sat beside him. Seeing him sitting there, paralyzed just made me felt helpless.

All I could do to help was just accompanying him. I placed the letter in his hands, trying really hard to hold on to it. Once all the letters had been given out our PC asked us to open and read them. I told him that we would open the letters together as I already knew I was not going to receive a letter from my parents. We sat there under the tree, waiting and listening to our other platoon mates pouring out all their hearts and thoughts. Me and Haris shared some jokes here and there while encouraging him to try to move his hands. I could see some frustration in him so I tried to keep things as lighthearted as possible. After a few more recruits went up and speak, he tried to open his letter again. We opened them together bit by bit. I was hoping he would get a letter from his loved ones but when both of us took out the letters, they were the same. It was the standard letter from all the commanders of Bronco Company. It would have been nice to have received a handwritten one like the others but knowing that my parents are both in Brunei, the letter from the commanders were enough.

After all those who had spoken finished, we were given a chance to write a letter back. I took this chance to write a letter to my parents about how I felt in the past when I had to go out with them. I am not sure if I ended the letter on a good note or a bad one but hopefully they will see what I was trying to say. Once done writing all the letters were consolidated and passed to our commanders. Then back to digging our shell scrape with a new found motivation and hope for what is to come in the future. With all the emotions happening around me, it is not easy for me to put everything down on paper. The level of connection I felt with my buddy at that moment was more than what I have had with even the closest of all my close friends. I would not say that this moment is defining but it is one that I will cherish the most.

Using both thumbs to rub from the bottom of your neck up to your chin. Keep doing this for 5 minutes a day.
I've inherited my double chin-ness from my mum, so I don't think I can get rid of it so easily but I'm pretty sure this works haha

So, I think most of you know I'm in KL now since 2 years ago. ANDDDD! I have finished my Diploma~ It's Diploma in Hospitality Management, no it's not about managing hospitals.. although I can :D its hotel stuff etc~

Me starting my Bachelor Degree now, time seems to fly by sooo fast. Most of you are either studying overseas or working already. When I heard MICK teaching in chms, I was shocked haha like seriously.

well...this is my first time posting something in this blog..as a requested from SOMEONE...hahaha...

so..maybe u all knew..i m now in kuching..nth much to do here...cny is coming soon..so i had my house cleaning this morning..i was woken up by my mum...at 8am...v v v dizzy as i slept at 1am plus..=.="

besides than tat..i also went for my driving classes...wow...i think driving is crazy...=.=" after all those classes..i still think it would b better if there are ppl willing to send and fetch me all d times..=.="tat's something i called happiness..however..i dunno about wat others think..haha..anyway..i had attended 4 classes..n the difference between driving classes in malaysia n brunei is..

malaysia:not even 10 mins per class; brunei: at least 1 hr

and..

before learning how to drive..u hv to like attend 6 hrs law class..after tat law test..then attend 6 more hours class..wat theory and amali..=.="i m not sure bout tat...juz went for it n played fone games:eg. meteos, sims etc...v bored.. and d point is...they said hv to attend theory and amali class..bt..u noe wat happen whn we attend amali class..?we waited for 3 hrs sitting there..doing nth...juz wait..for time to pass..next time if possible i show u bout d place of my driving school..=.="quite far from town..like sampah sampah..

LOL! Is'nt this cool eh? Using blog posts to chit chat. But seriously, it's abit too late for a job. I'll be back soon. Some of you already know the exact date but I'm not spilling anything here and for those who already know don't tell anyone. Anywhere I already got one. Bringing those who come visit around singapore. It may not seem like it but it's quite tiring. Being the guide, you have to carry everything they bought while they buy some more. Haha.

LOL! Cool. Everyone will be in brunei when i come back. This is going to be an awesome Chinese New Year. Can anyone in Brunei keep an eye out for my results? Hopefully they will be good and it will only make my Chinese New Year even more AWESOME. You cannot beat a great two weeks of Ang Pao, Eating, Visits, Family, Friends and most importantly Gambling. Haha.

So today, we went to Kimchi for lunch then loitered around mall for hours...why?? dunno. Just had nothing to do. No movies to watch till 4.00pm, which was kinda late... only New Moon sneak peeks were showing at 2.00pm...

Nisa bought $10 worth of games while I bought Shadow of the Colossus for my brother...it worked at the store...but didnt run back at home. Darnit. Then after putting it in and taking it out around 6 times, it finally worked. Phew... It turned out the disc wasn't uniformly flat... had to put it in at an angle.

Chai Eng was telling us about that trip she went to Thailand just a few days ago. She said it was fun, and that she found the Thai language funny when it came to numbers. 4822, in thai, is pronounced Si Be Song Song.... Lol. Then I told her, 1 was pronounced Neng... so 4811 would be Si Be Neng Neng....

I got to see Ngok Lin. Havent seen him in a while. Got slimmer. Caught a glimpse of Dexter. And I saw Crystal's older sister for the first time. I see the slight resemblance they share.

So lately, ppl are all messed up with university stuff...where, when, what, and how...so confusing. Any of you figured it out yet? Know where you're gonna end up? I most likely am headed for Australia... I think...bleh. You know, all these prospectus reading is really doing shit for my self-esteem. I mean, someone shud teach us about these courses earlier on. Like Cheow wei was asking the other day, what is the difference between Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences? Dunno.

Well I suppose a bit of research and reading will clear things up...still, confusion leads to procrastination, and sooner or later, u realise you dont have much time left. Kinda sad...ppl are leaving...again...wahhh. Am gonna miss what we have here. Mak is leaving on the 8th/9th of Dec...to Singapore. T_T.

Soooo, after holding our breaths for an entire week, the june AS results are still no where to be found.... Well, our information WAS based on rumours, but still....

First "they" were saying monday the results might be out. When monday came around, 'they' said thursday, surely surely thursday's the day. Weeeell, it's friday today. It really doesn't matter much when it's coming out...when you stand back and think about it. Some people dread it, and some people, like myself, can't wait for it, and some pretty much don't give a damn.

But some of us, like myself, rely on the results for motivation for the upcoming mock. Was kinda hoping the results would wake me up from laziness...but if its coming out on monday, just one day before mock...

So, I finally get the chance to blog...Three months without onlining was almost...liberating. Looks like there is life without the internet.

Anyways, the blog is dead. Yup, as we have all feared...It has indeed died. Except maybe the Cbox. But even the Cbox is becoming bizarre...like a man slowly becoming crazy after being alone for too long...eg. tom hanks in Cast Away. Or. Robinson Crusoe.

Hmm, what to talk about in this revival post? The A Levels are coming up. But first, mock. You guys ready? Katok has their mocks early...Poor katokians. "Katokians" is a weeeeeeird word. La lol.

Smog. It's been real hazy here these days. Today, for the first time, the sun was of a normal colour again... Man, how do city folks get use to such pollution?? *looking at Beijing* I think the haze thing is serious coz the burning this year's a little closer to home. Belait's burning...60 hectares gone, last time I checked. Borneo's burning in several places...Yesterday, I came home from school, ash was fluttering all round my house...the little patch of nature in front of my place was on fire...traffic was bad.

Oooo, I remember! I had recall, a few weeks ago, another MEMORY! Tada! La lol.

It was during 1995. Kindergarten graduation ceremony. I was 5. And at the moment, very proud of my graduation overalls and the square hat thing I have seen on tv and always wanted to try out. We were in the Darussalam hall. Isn't it sorta mysterious when you think about it? Almost all of us were there, and yet we did not know each other...but we were going to about eight years later....

Okay anyways. I found myself in the first row, nearest to the stage. I started fidgeting...It was kinda stuffy in the overall. I turned to see my parents...They were mingling...I waved to a far away friend, she waved back. Okay...done. I play with the tail thing on the hat...okay, done. Then I saw this small girl beside me with fair skin.

"Hey, what's your name?!!!"

"Er..Hui Zhen" in a small voice.

"Hui Zhen?? I'm Loh Sing Yee!"

Then I told everyone I could reach from my seat that Hui Zhen was my BEST BEST FRIEND!

The Borneo's Global Issues Conference and U15 Forbissea's performances are coming up.

I know of the BGIC. It's some sort of mock-UN sort of student project or event, right? But what is the U15 Forbissea?

It's a sports event organized for athletes who are under 15. I'm performing in the opening.

Sounds like fun. So, I know it's a long while ago, but how was your CNY?

Nothing much. I went back to my hometown in Sibu. Though, it is the longest CNY I've ever spent in Sibu. 5 days.

Do you still keep in touch with any of the ex-CHMS?

Yes, but not often. I'm having a busy term. I see Tiong and Grace at church. Bebie, Choo Yee, Elena and Collie I meet on MSN.

You know this is going up on our class blog, right? Anything you wanna say to the class?

You guys gave me so many good memories, I really miss you guys. Wish you all the best in working for a better future together.

Wayne, how have you been lately?

A bit stressed out with all the CNY thingy, tests and homeworks, and all that stuff.

Wanna elaborate on "CNY thingy"?

What is there to elaborate about? Fine, I'll summarize. CNY crashed with tests. Then going pai nian was like a war. Tiring but fun. Still tiring. Lol, dunno what I'm saying anymore.

So, seen anything interesting in the media lately? In a movie, a book?

Been reading a book written by an ex-FBI agent, about body language. It tells you how to notice emotions and thoughts that people try to hide. It's quite interesting.

On BBC, I saw a documentary about female-male attraction and the science behind it. According to the docu, men are attracted to women for their hour-glass body shape, coz it shows she is fertile. Of course, this is only for first impressions. For more complicated affections, that depends on social interactions and personality and flirting ability.

Is that true for you?

Kinda true.

And for women, they look for height in men because it shows they have good genes. I'm not showing off or anything ok? I'm pretty short compared to western guys.

Ok. Wayne, what do you think is unique about being you?

...I am not very good at academics, never got any gold medals in sports, don't have many gfs coz of my poor socializing skills...I'm just a typical person.

But I am what I am. I am unique in my looks, my style, my sound.

Actually, I can think of another thing that is unique about you. People seem to like kacau-ing you, maybe coz it's easy to get along with you? Did you ever notice that?

Sort of. It's kinda hard to be serious with you guys sometimes, even when seriousness is needed. People don't take me seriously, that is a problem for me. It's hard to make a point sometimes. I guess it's because I hide my uneasiness with jokes and a smile, hence you think I am not serious, but really I'm trying.

Once in a while, an interesting memory pops up from the distant past, a flashback. I just had one yesterday at lunch in MD yesterday. We were talking about god knows what, then the conversation led to frogs. That was when I remembered this:

The year was 1999.

I was in primary 3.

During recess, I found a frog in the girl's toilet.

It was really small.

Like about the size of paperclip.

Naturally, I caught it.

Was really excited about showing the guys in class.

Haha.

I carried it in my palm all the way back.

Class was real noisy.

The frog got frightened by the sudden rush of sound I guess...

It jump off.

I hurried to pick it back up.

As my hands were inches away from it...

A white shoe came down from the heavens,

and crushed the helpless tiny frog.

When the shoes lifted,

a chunk of bloody mush was all that was left.

Turning to my head to see who the merciless killer was,

I saw her.

Lol.

I never told her till yesterday.

It was probably wise I hadnt.

She would've freaked out.

She almost did yesterday.

I had to assure her the frog did not touch her.

At all.

Well, that was memory 1.

What Katok Looks Like

When we first arrive, people were just standing around the drop off point without a clue what to do.

This is the canteen from an outside point of view.

It's got three stalls instead of just one in MD.

But, it still doesnt have table and chairs yet.

And it has a second floor, the dining hall.

Then we went off in search of one of the most important things in a school,

the toilet.

Nice colourful lockers eh?

The buildings are named with big silvery letters here.

Yay, found the toilet.

Winnie is starting a ritual dance there to claim this as ours.

We waited there for like half an hour maybe?

Before the orientation even started.

We were let out again at around 10 for a break.

They provided nasi lemak. Mmmm.

Then we toured some more.

With six fans each and no air conditioning.

It's actually not too hot there.

But then, it's been raining a lot lately so... can't really judge.

It's like they're preparing to teach professional basketballers.

As for the round little window...it's kinda hard to look into it without appearing stupid to the students inside.

I guess its so students dont get distracted by whoever passes by outside.

Never knew boredom and not moving can be so torturous...

And we had to sit on the floor...

bleh, cant even sleep, lol.

Well, that's about all that happened on the first day. Today, we stayed in our classes for most of the day. With absolutely nothing to do. Luckily Eelynn's in my AE, otherwise, I would be killed by boredom. Our timetables arent out yet. They thought it was ready, but it was all messed up.

I mean, Eelynn was suddenly taking usuluddin(sp??) and I was taking history. lol.

Then, a bunch of us just decided we want to appeal for transfer back to MD. Hopefully our apeals will be heard.... I mean, the buildings nice and all, but without the proper management and equipment, it's just a shell.

Bleh, all will be revealed in time.

Hmm, turns out there aren't that many pics to upload at all. Coz after filtering out the blurred, the humiliating and the pointless, these are the surviving photos worth putting up.

Let's start. People started arriving around 7. Almost all of them brought something, to my mom's horror. I tried to tell her not to cook too much, but she insist we are kids who can't take care of ourselves and will end up starving. Well, there were lots of leftovers...lol.

It's on the right side, so you need to U-turn over there if you're going up from Gadong.

There's are NO U-turns on this highway...

I didn't draw it coz it's too far up the road.

Spg 232 is easy to miss if you drive fast coz it's at a corner.

To give you a cue when to slow down, look out for a Laing Tun Warehouse sign beside the road,

then an old aging two storey house after that.

So i read this article and found it rather amusing.

How to Give a Cat A Bath

Some people have the misconception that cats never have to be bathed. That somehow they "lick" themselves clean. Well contrary to this popular belief, cats do NOT have some enzyme in their saliva that resembles Tide (with or without bleach).
Cats, like their nemesis, the dog .... do get dirty and have a variety of odors... from smelling like the outhouse where you camped last year to the same odor as your dog's breath. (Remember... your dog will try to eat anything.)
Now we all know that cats HATE water. And we know that giving the cat a sedative to ease this process of a bath is out of the question.
So, the best approach is both sneaky and direct. Remember now, this is not the dumb dog who can be led to tub with lies and a trail of Kibbles and Bits.
Although your cat has the advantage of smarts, quickness and total lack of concern for you .... you have the advantage of size, strength, and the ability to wear protective garments.
1. First .... dress for the occasion. A 4-ply rubber wet suit is suggested, along with a helmet, face mask and welders gloves.
2. A Bathtub with a glass enclosure is preferred to the one with a shower curtain. A frenzied cat can shred one of these in about 3.5 seconds.
3. Have the Kitty Bubbles and towel in the enclosed bathtub area before hand. No ... blow drying the cat after the bath is not suggested.
4. Draw the water, making it a little warmer than needed as you still need to find the cat. Position everything strategically in the shower, so you can reach it even if you are face down or prone in the tub.
5. Find your cat. Use the element of surprise. Pick the cat up, nonchalantly as if you were simply carrying him/her to the supper dish. No need to worry about the cat noticing your strange attire, the cat barely notices you anyway.
6. Once you and the cat are inside the bathroom ....speed is essential. In one single liquid motion .shut the door to the bathroom, step into the shower, close the sliding doors, and drop the cat into the water. While the cat is still in a state of shock . locate the Kitty Bubbles and squirt whatever part of him is above the water line. You have just begun the wildest 45 seconds of your life. Remember that cats have no handles and add the fact that he now has soapy fur. His state of shock has worn off and he's madder than hell.
7. As best, you can, wearing welder's gloves, try to field his body as he catapults through the air toward the ceiling. If possible, give another squirt of Kitty Bubbles with his body now fully exposed.
8. During the 5 seconds you are able to hold onto him, rub vigorously. No need to worry about rinsing. As he slides down the glass enclosure into the tub, he will fall back into the water, rinsing himself in the process.
9. Only attempt the lather and rinse process about 3 times. The cat will realize the lack of traction on the glass by then and will use the next attempt on the first available part of you.
10. Next, the cat must be dried. No...this is NOT the easiest part. By this stage, you are worn out and the cat has just become semi-permanently affixed to your right leg. We suggest here that you drain the tub and in full view of your cat, reach for the bottle of Kitty Bubbles.
11. If you have done step 10 correctly, the cat will be off your leg and hanging precariously from your helmet. Although this view of the cat is most disgusting, he will be in a much better position for wrapping the towel around him.
12. Be sure cat is firmly wrapped in towel before opening tub enclosure. Open bathroom door .... put towel wrapped cat on floor and step back quickly. Into tub, if possible, and do not open enclosure until all you can see is the shredded towel.
13. In about 2 hours .... it will be safe to exit the bathroom. Your cat will be sitting out there somewhere looking like a small hedgehog while plotting revenge. But he does smell better?????

Here's an attempt to save our blog. Do read it!

This is Wayne trimming his nails in math class. Somehow, he felt like it.

This is what he left on the table after. He quickly disposed of them for fear of somebody using his nails in a voodoo hex on him.

In other news,

we have all been very stressed lately because of the AS exams that has brought a dark shadow over our lives.

Today,

I was walking around in school, looking for Chai Eng,

when a friendly looking teacher smiled at me.

I smile back.

She then proceed to tell me that,

my socks were not white.

I went, "Yeah?"

Because, you see, I could see that they are not white.

Being dumb as I am,

it took me several seconds to realise I was caught breaking a rule.

She had me follow her to the SA office.

Where she confiscated my socks.

"Take off your socks," she said sweetly.

"Take off?"

"Yes."

I have to say, this is one of the most ridiculous things that ever happened to me.

Pin Jia got caught too.

She had to trim her nails,

scrap off the bright pink nail polish,

roll down her sleeves,

change her grey socks into white,

tie up her hair and

do up her tudong.

I think.

Such a weird day.

I love it and hate it.

Lol.
